Association between Job Analysis Factors and Health Service Programmes for the Health Center Directors

Abstract
Objects: This study aims to analyze the correlation between the job analysis factors and health service programmes for the health center directors in Korea.

Methods: The job analysis factors of this study was to investigate the influence of the health center director"s employment period, and possession of a doctor"s license and health officials or no on the health service provided at health center directors. A questionnaire survey was mailed out to the health center directors across the nation from Sept. 24 to Oct. 12, 2011. A total of 121 responses were collected and analyzed.

Results: The result showed that public health medical services had a positive (+) correlation with the possession of a doctor"s license and health officials. If the health center directors is a medical doctor or health officials, they are believed to have had a positive influence on the performance of public health services.

Conclusion: Therefore, health center director"s employment period and the possession of a doctor"s license and health officials, part of the job analysis factors for health center directors, need to be taken into consideration so that job analysis can be done systematically.
